Swaps welcome if I'm interested in your item(s).

Swaps will only be conducted through meetups, as we save money on postage (factoring out transport cost) and the risk of lost mail.

Swaps may be subject to an increased price, usually $2.

My rationale for this:

It's about the opportunity cost.

When I swap my things for yours at your request, I put myself in various risks:

1) I might just be forcing myself to pick an item, when I do not actually need it, and could actually put the money I could otherwise have gotten to better use

2) The item I choose might not fit/ suit me and I'd have something unwanted at my hands again

3) I could have sold the item for cold, hard cash (liquidity is always good) instead of having an extra piece of clothing

Thus please understand my decision to have a Swap Price for every item.

Please note however, that I do not do Swaps with shops that charge me at your Swapping Price despite you having initiated the swap. By agreeing to pick some items out from your shop so you can get your desired item from my shop, it is already a favour to you, thus it does not make any sense for me to be getting that item at the increased swapping price.
